About

The ITS Library houses one of the preeminent transportation collections in the United States. Established in
1948, the ITS Library serves the research needs of the Institute of Transportation Studies and the University of California system.

With stacks of books on just one side of its fourth floor McLaughlin Hall space, the library has shifted its mission to providing information services, connecting users to a vast array of electronic resources and digitized collections. Our collections include transportation engineering, planning, policy and more. You can find our physical collection through UC Library Search

We are a collaborative space for students and researchers, providing study areas in addition to our collections and research assistance.
