Reference Librarians provide individualized help in finding a specific piece of information, in locating specific items or materials on a topic, and in using the Melvyl catalog and other finding tools.

The Reference Desk is staffed from 1:00-5:00, Monday through Friday, and by appointment.
Service is available to the library's primary clientele of ITS and UCB students, faculty and staff, employees of public transportation agencies, and ITS Affiliates and Library Affiliates. Limited service is available to other students and the general public. The library does not provide assistance with requests related to litigation or traffic violations.
If resources outside the ITS Library are needed, the librarian may suggest other libraries for further research, or you may be directed to UCB’s interlibrary loan services.
